Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
An all-volunteer, non-profit organization founded in 1995, dedicated to promoting the preservation and proliferation of healthy wildlife habitats throughout Loudoun County. Offering many activities across the county including:
- speaker programs featuring local experts on topics ranging from reptiles to hummingbirds to cougars
- field trips to local parks and sanctuaries for bird walks, butterfly and dragonfly walks, and wildflower identification walks among others
- long-standing habitat and species monitoring programs including stream monitoring, amphibian monitoring, and annual butterfly and bird counts. We also partner with the Virginia Bluebird Society to offer bluebird nestbox monitoring at trails across the county.

Most activities are free and open to people of all ages.
