As VDOT takes over the maintenance for our streets, they will be enforcing a clear and accessible right-of-way. This means that any foreign objects, other than mailboxes, that are in this area must be removed. This includes, but is not limited to: stones, statuary, decorative brick, pottery, light posts, and sprinkler heads. Also included are shrubs or trees, though low ground cover plants are probably ok as long as they don’t grow over the curb.
